Born as the second child of Tamaran's royal family, Koriand'r was next in line for the throne. Her older sister, Komand'r (later known as Blackfire), grew bitter after a childhood illness left her unable to fly, costing her the right to rule.Driven by jealousy, Komand'r betrayed Tamaran to their enemies—the Citadel—and sold Koriand'r into slavery to secure power and peace.Captivity and Powers
During years of brutal imprisonment and torture by alien scientists, Koriand'r was subjected to experiments. These experiments unlocked and supercharged her physiological ability to convert absorbed ultraviolet light into devastating energy projectives, known as starbolts.Escape to Earth
Koriand'r staged a daring escape from her captors, commandeering a spaceship and freeing fellow slaves along the way.Fleeing to Earth, she encountered Robin and other young heroes, leading her to become a founding member of the Teen Titans.

The Au informationKori is an Tamaran /Squirrel glider hybrid which she enjoys at times. She was experimented on when she was a teenager. She was a test subject to a scientist named Dr. Danna Holt. She was confused because she really didn't know what was going on. It took awhile to figure out and she didn't get angry about it.She can change into a Squirrel glider at any time and when she sneezes as well. Being a hybrid is actually really fun to her because she can do whatever she likes. Free to do anything. The freedom feels nice.

Kori's PersonalityKind and Compassionate: She is deeply warm, loving, and cares intensely about peace and harmony among her friends.Innocent and Naive: Because she is an alien from the planet Tamaran, she often misunderstands Earth customs, idioms, and pop culture.Fierce Warrior: Beneath her sweet exterior lies a powerful, disciplined royal warrior who will aggressively protect her teammates and the innocent from danger.Loyal Friend: She takes friendship and loyalty very seriously, becoming deeply distressed when her friends fight. The Animated Series (Teen Titans): Starfire is portrayed as extra bubbly, highly emotional, wide-eyed, and endearingly naive—acting as the emotional heart of the team. The Comic Books: While still compassionate, comic book Starfire leans much closer to her roots as a hardened, confident warrior from a passionate alien culture who is much more direct and unabashedly self-assured.
